Dina Batshon
Ruwwad Jordan Director

Dina Batshon

is the Jordan Director at Ruwwad. She holds a Master’s degree in Education and International Development from the Institute of Education at University College London, and a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology. She is an education, youth, and development practitioner and researcher and a life-long learner, and is invested in exploring pathways towards quality learning experiences for all. She previously managed diverse educational and youth programs and engaged in both academic and evaluation-focused research with local and international organizations, and has previously held both the roles of Deputy Director, and Community Outreach Officer and Knowledge Coordinator at Ruwwad.

Khaled Al Ryahi
Regional Internal Auditor

Khaled Al Ryahi

is the Regional Internal Auditor at Ruwwad. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Petra University. He is certified as an Odoo ERP trainer and is trained in the SAP global business system, with a proven record in implementing systems and improving operational efficiency. He is a seasoned expert in financial management, auditing, and internal control with deep experience across not-for-profit organizations and SMEs. In his role he leads audit assignments, enhancing risk management frameworks, and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance.

Ala'a Mneizel
Child and Adolescent Lead

Ala'a Mneizel

is the Child and Adolescent Lead at Ruwwad. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering. She brings 10 years of experience in education focused on design, innovation, and technology, and has translated her design thinking skills into impactful educational programming and curriculum development tailored for young learners. Her journey includes extensive work at Ruwwad, where she previously coordinated programs, oversaw MEAL processes, and played a key role in leading the Ruwwad Innovation Space —fostering creativity, experimentation, and community-driven learning. She continues to lead efforts in creating dynamic, hands-on curricula that nurture creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among children and adolescents.

Omar Nimri
Regional Technical & Creative Communications Expert

Omar Nimri

is the Regional Technical & Creative Communications Expert at Ruwwad. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Yarmouk University, along with several specialized training in creative thinking. He has extensive experience in design within international advertising and media organizations, in addition to a strong background in technical and creative communications within non-governmental organizations. He specializes in brand development and training. Prior to joining Ruwwad, he worked in 2013 with the Ruwwad MicroVenture Fund, where he supported and developed startup projects creatively in his role as Marketing Manager. He also possesses advanced skills in visual art direction and storytelling, creating impactful content that brings brand identities to life.

Tareq Al Faqih
Community Support Program Officer

Tareq Al Faqih

is the Community Program Officer at Ruwwad. He is a graduate of the Mousab Khorma Youth Education and Empowerment Fund at Ruwwad, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Al-Balqa Applied University. He is a community leader with over 20 years of experience in volunteerism and community engagement. He works through a rights-based approach, embedding conflict management, youth empowerment, and the promotion of youth participation in community service, in collaboration with local and international institutions and initiatives. He has extensive experience in community development, combining a developmental vision with a deep understanding of the needs of vulnerable communities, particularly in national contexts facing social and economic challenges. He is passionate about building and strengthening effective communication bridges between individuals and relevant institutions.

Enas Obedallah
Child Program Officer

Enas Obedallah

Enas Obedallah is the Child Program Officer at Ruwwad. She is a graduate of the Mousab Khorma Youth Education and Empowerment Fund at Ruwwad, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Library and Information Management. She leads community-based educational programs for children using inquiry-based learning methodologies, integrating diverse learning media such as creative arts and children's literature. She also empowers and trains youth volunteers in best practices for working with children. With 18 years of experience in community and institutional work, she has developed deep expertise in education and learning, early childhood development, community organizing, parenting, and child protection. She has extensive experience in designing and developing educational modules for children grounded in critical thinking, project-based learning, and pedagogical frameworks such as Bloom’s Taxonomy and active learning methodologies.She is committed to continuously enhancing her work through monitoring and evaluation tools, using them to analyze outcomes, assess impact, and ensure effectiveness and sustainability. Her work is rooted in strong values and principles, most notably social justice and equitable access to opportunities.

Moath Al Akayleh
Ruwwad Tafilah Center Director

Moath Al Akayleh

is Ruwwad Tafileh Center Director. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tafileh Technical University. He is a youth and community activist, trainer, and volunteer with numerous organizations. He is a community leader in Tafilah, and was amongst the team of founding Ruwwad in Tafilah in 2013. He is a youth enabler and passionate about community development and sustainability in Tafilah, and has made a significant impact across the governorate and across its regions through training, capacity building, economic empowerment, networking, and creating employment opportunities for youth, as well as working with all segments of society, including children, adolescents, and Ruwwad community. He was awarded the Silver Jubilee Medal by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein in 2024.

Youth Program Senior Officer

Ala' Jarad

is the Youth Program Senior Officer at Ruwwad. He is a graduate of the Mousab Khorma Youth Education and Empowerment Fund at Ruwwad, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Philadelphia University, as well as a Higher Diploma in Social Work from the German Jordanian University. He has extensive experience in youth empowerment, community organizing, applying a human rights-based approach, and has won several awards for Social Entrepreneurship.

Azzah Kana’an
Youth and Community Lead

Azzah Kana’an

is the Youth and Community Lead at Ruwwad. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in computer science,  She has over 10 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors. She specializes in capacity building, institutional strengthening, and training. Azzah has worked with a wide range of local and international NGOs across all governorates in Jordan, leading and contributing to diverse project portfolios that address community development, youth empowerment, and social resilience. Her work is rooted in deep field experience and a strong commitment to inclusive, sustainable impact.

Ibrahim Hafez
Information Technology Unit Officer

Ibrahim Hafez

is the information technology unit officer at Ruwwad. He is a graduate of the Mousab Khorma Youth Education and Empowerment Fund at Ruwwad, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, and professional certifications in IT security and networking. He is a cybersecurity practitioner, combining technical expertise with a commitment to community development. At Ruwwad, he leads IT operations and secures network infrastructure. Additionally, he designs and leads hands-on training programs with adolescents and youth to develop digital literacy.
