Since Ruwwad launched the creative arts workshop in 2006, it became a cornerstone of the child development program. In 2010, Ruwwad adopted the inquiry-based learning approach in establishing creative arts learning units which help children develop their creative and critical thinking skills by exploring the relationship of art to our lives as well as the lives of Arab and international artists.
In September 2019, Ruwwad created a community art exhibition, titled For the Sake of Art Day, which more than 350 community members attended. Ruwwad children showcased their artwork, performed a puppet show and Ruwwad’s children’s choir sang Arab heritage songs.
