Ruwwad launched the Economic Enablement Project, funded by Citi Foundation, to boost the employability of young people around the globe. The project also aims to equipp youth with entrepreneurial mindsets and skills to help them secure jobs and contribute to their economies.
Through 2019, 56 unemployed youth graduates completed the comprehensive Skills for Success—Employability Skills training program. After completing the training course, 14 of the participants were placed in eight companies as interns for a period of up to six months. The internships resulted in employing eight of the interns in full-time jobs and three in part-time jobs.
