Atayeb Tarablus has not just become a part of the Women’s Advancement component but of Ruwwad Al Tanmeya as a whole. The kitchen contributes to Ruwwad's Scholarship Fund Program, generates revenue that supports ongoing projects and activities, and most importantly, provides income for women from disenfranchised families and their dependents.
Beneficiaries (58 women) took part in Atayeb Tarablus Community Kitchen activities. Some women were employed fulltime in the kitchen, providing catering services throughout the year to a variety of local enterprises and civil society organizations. Many other women also work in the kitchen on an upon need basis.
Throughout the month of Ramadan, the kitchen prepared meals for 62 vulnerable families, reaching 331 individuals.
