The Network for Advancement and Work Acceleration in Tripoli (NAWAT) is an initiative launched and managed by a consortium of local and international partners, including Ruwwad Al Tanmeya, CARE International, Tripoli Entrepreneurs Club (TEC), SHiFT Social Innovation Hub, and with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The initiative uses a variety of methods to enable these target groups to increase their level of participation in the local economy.
Project goals include improving access to the labor market for youth and women, engaging businesses and entrepreneurs and building capacity of the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the consortium.
