This capacity building and local empowerment project is funded by the German development organization, Forum ZFD, and is implemented by Ruwwad Lebanon in partnership with March Lebanon, SHiFT Social Innovation Hub, We Love Tripoli and the Lebanese Democratic Women's Gathering (RDFL). The project aims to support Lebanese civil society to establish inclusive structures for conflict transformation, community development and relationship building through the process of community mobilizing. The project is implemented in two phases: supporting local community activists (CAs) through personal and professional development as they build relationships with the community they have chosen to work with, and the work of CAs inside these communities through community-based development projects and conflict resolution activities.
