Ruwwad Palestine conducted training sessions on empathetic listening to the youth of Budrus, Qibya, Neilin and Deir Qiddis villages. The training equipped the youth with skills that will enhance relationships with one another and with children.

New activities involving children and fathers were held at Ruwwad to reinforce the relationship between fathers and their children through games, learning and reading.

In Budrus, Qibya and Ni’lin, 320 children participated in the summer clubs across the three villages.

Budrus Summer Club

“The Club of Dreams” for 150 of Budrus’ children focused on imagination, creativity, goal-setting and self-expression, with the participation of doctors, journalists and others across disciplines and professional fields.

Ruwwad youth scholars organized nine “Tijwal” trips to Palestinian villages for cultural enrichment and to enhance integration. Throughout the visits, Ruwwad’s youth scholars met with youth organizations and exchanged experiences to help them create their own initiatives.

Ruwwad’s Reading Club was very active in 2017. Fifteen youth scholars attend each reading circle to discuss what they read and join cultural trips to enrich their knowledge and learning.
