The main purpose of the Mubaderoon Project is to strengthen social enterprise initiatives to tackle social challenges in Jordan.
The project launched in August 2019 with activities to enhance the contribution of individuals and social institutions in supporting their communities. Support comes in the way of social solutions and services implemented through community-based poverty reduction initiatives and enterprises. Attention is given to social inclusion for those in need of care, especially youth and women, so they may effectively engage in a formal economic system.
The project is funded by the European Union - European Development Fund and implemented through Plan International - Jordan Office and partners, Ruwwad, Alfanar and the European Research Institute on Cooperative and Social Enterprises (EURICSE).
