The Technology for Food Project, conducted in partnership with the American University of Beirut, under the overall management of the World Food Program, provided vulnerable populations of women and youth with training in digital skills and English language. This project aimed to improve the employability of these groups, providing them with the skills needed to succeed in the modern digital knowledge-based economyRegional partners implemented Technology for Food Project not just in Tripoli but in various locations throughout Lebanon.
Throughout 2019, two project cycles were completed, with 202 beneficiaries completing 54 hours of English language sessions and 96 hours of digital skills. Additionally, 54 beneficiaries from Cycle 1 took part in advanced digital skills training and an additional 25 beneficiaries took part in the coding skills project.
