Work Acceleration in Tripoli towards Advancement and Development Project (WATAD) aims to improve the socio-economic conditions of vulnerable populations in the neighborhoods of Jabal Mohsen and Bab el-Tabbaneh in Tripoli. The project supports the local economy through enterprise creation and existing businesses, strengthens the capacity of Ruwwad and improvs social cohesion between communities.
WATAD is structured around three components: supporting the creation of small and very small enterprises (SOITs) through the launch of a seed fund, supporting the development of existing businesses through the launch of an acceleration fund and building the capacity of Ruwwad in the area of entrepreneurship and self-financing.
